Broadcast Television Goes Digital in 2009
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has mandated that by February 17, 2009 television stations nationwide must end analog broadcast and begin broadcasting exclusively in digital format.
What does this mean to viewers that receive free broadcast television signals through antennas on their television sets that are equipped with analog tuners, and who do not subscribe to cable, satellite or a telephone company service provider?
You will no longer be able to view analog programming on your television sets in 2009.
Therefore, it is important that you act now to obtain a “DTV Converter Box” that converts the digital television signal into analog making it viewable on your analog television set.

This upgrade from analog to digital will not affect those viewers who pay for television services through cable, satellite or telephone company television services.
For more information on this technological breakthrough, and to obtain a “free coupon” valued at $40.00 to help defray cost of the DTV Converter Box, call now 1 (888) DTV-2009 or visit www.DTV2009.gov.
