Mission Statement

The mission of Multicultural Affairs is to facilitate a comprehensive community-wide outreach programs to bring all diverse groups together. Establish partnerships between the communities by initiating dialogues to brainstorm on a regular basis. And develop channels of communication for consulting with all these segments of our community. Created by County Executive in March 2003, to provide vital information on community services to residents of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds in Prince George's County.

First time in the history of the agency, OCR now have bi-lingual professional staff committed to providing programs, services and cultural activities that create an awareness of, and appreciation for, cultural diversity within the county.
