EOI for Part-Time Psychiatric Consultation Services

The Prince George’s County Department of Family Services, Administration for Children, Youth and Families, seeks Expressions of Interest to provide part-time Psychiatric Consultation Services to the Local Coordinating Council (LCC). The purpose of the Expression of Interest is to find a qualified, available Child Psychiatrist with a background and work experiences in Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice and/or Mental Health. Cases are reviewed and discussed on a bi-weekly basis with the LCC team, and the psychiatrist will review the treatment and care coordination plan and make recommendations to LCC. In addition, the psychiatrist will provide presentations to the LCC members on common childhood mental health issues, diagnoses, prescribed medications, side affects and interactions. Applicant will participate in the annual action strategic planning retreat.
